If you ever felt weekend traffic is just as bad as traffic during the week, latest road statistics from SUNA traffic information, available on Navman GPS devices, shows that you are correct. |

| Data from SUNA reveals that in Sydney, the difference between travelling in at peak times during a week day and at weekends can be as little as half a minute. What varies is the timing of peak hours: Monday to Friday, traffic peaks between 6.15am and 10am, while on weekends it is generally much later from 10.15 to 2pm. |

The latest statistics from SUNA Traffic shows that, in Sydney:
- Driving from the airport to the CBD at the weekend takes around 30 seconds less than it does during peak hour Monday to Friday. And the same is true for driving from CBD to the airport.
- Getting from the city to Manly ( about 20Km away) in the afternoon or early evening is only two minutes faster on a Saturday than during the week.
- You may be surprised to know the average speed from the Sydney CBD heading north for Monday to Friday am peak hour is just 34kph while for Saturday peak hour (10.15 to 2pm) it's just 35 kph.
